This weekend, at the turn of May and June, Puławy will become the most important point on the map of Polish motorsport. The city, which will be the base of the seventh edition of the Vistula Rally, will host teams competing in the second round of Polish Rally Championship 2019 and Historical Polish Rally Championship. There is a total of 78 crews on the list of applications and once again Rallytechnology team presents a strong representation. Under the tents of the Rybnik company there will be as many as three of the 11 crews the R5 specification.

After an impressive debut in Świdnica, the duo Marcin Słobodzian and Kamil Kozdroń, as runners-up in the RSMP 2019, will go with the second starting number. Sylwester Płachytka and Jacek Nowaczewski received number seven according to the classification. For them it will be the second start in Puławy. The two Ford Fiestas will be joined by a Hyundai i20 of the crew number 12, which is a big surprise for the fans. It will be Polish debut of Daniel Chwist, in his third season of starts in the R5 car. Once again his co-driver will be Kamil Heller.

The fight will be limited to six trials only, but two laps of Urzędów, Józefów and Wilków stage will amount to a total distance of almost 110 km. Previous seasons have shown that the specificity of routes and asphalt in Puławy poses a difficult challenge even for the most experienced rally drivers. This means that it is difficult to point to just one favorite of this year’s race in such a tightly-knit position. What chapter in the Nadwiślański Rally history will be added by its seventh edition? We'll see on Saturday, June 1.

Robert Gabryszewski (Rallytechnology team manager): "Ahead of us is probably one of the most characteristic and specific rallies of the RSMP calendar for many years. Compared to the other rounds of the cycle, the six stages may look not very impressive but nothing more misleading. Even that is enough for the very slippery asphalts to put the bar high for the racers. The traction is very unpredictable and in combination with fast stages yields a mixture that does not forgive any mistakes.

We are moving to the stages around Puławy in a strong but also very interesting team composition. Our drivers make three very different personalities. Daniel Chwist has the most experience in this group at the wheel of the R5 car, but the Rally Nadwiślański will be a complete novelty for him. Sylwester and Jacek successfully returned to the RSMP field, and present a better pace at every start. They are very well prepared for the next rally challenge behind the wheel of Fiesta. Marcin and Kamil delighted the fans with their R5 debut and they started the season perfectly. In the second start, the appetite for a good result is even bigger, and the fight for victory is certainly within their reach.

We are looking forward to a demanding and intense weekend, full of emotions from the first to the last meter. Keep your fingers crossed for the Rallytechnology crews and for the entire team, which will again fight in the classification of the sponsored crews."
