We started Season 2015 at the beginning of January, with Janner Rally, so a little earlier than it is promised to be this year. Beside this fact it will be a unique season of the inauguration of Rallytechnology. Ahead of us, in a few days’ time start in the oldest rally in history- Rally Monte Carlo. In the first round of the WRC in 2016 we will see four Polish crews, two of them - Sławomir Ogryzek / Jakub Wróbel and Tomasz Gryc piloted by Michał Kuśnierz, will be handled by our team.
That was Ogryzek and Wróbel duo with whom we started the season last year, when the crew won a historic result, showing up to be unrivaled in 2WD and ERC3 of Janner Rally. We hope that in his debut in the World Championship they will take us by surprise again. Tomasz and Michał will appear in our team for the first time. For the driver, who after a year-long break, returns to competition it will be also the first start in the WRC. Tomasz Gryc after almost two seasons spent in a Mitsubishi Lancer, returns to the front-wheel cars. Peugeot 208 R2 has not yet had a chance to start.
We have really intense preparation program behind, which has been started at the end of 2015. Shortly before New Year's Eve Sławomir Ogryzek and Arkadiusz Lechoszest in two Peugeots 208 R2 were testing on routes in Arłamów. Extremely busy in terms of tests was also previous weekend. From Friday to Sunday in the vicinity of Przemyśl their sessions had with us most of all Sławomir Ogryzek and Tomasz Gryc, but they could count on help from the European and Polish Champions. On Friday and Saturday Kajetan Kajetanowicz and Jarosław Baran joined us, boarded again for Subaru Impreza, in which they reached RSMP championship titles.
On Sunday, Łukasz Habaj and Piotr Woś could be seen on the route. This time, exceptionally not in Ford, but they got into FWD and in the Peugeot 208 they drove its first SS. Sunday was extremely difficult in terms of weather conditions, but the whole weekend guaranteed the aura very similar to that which may be waiting for us during Monte Carlo.
In a few days the greatest classic of the WRC will start, with a very strong cast. We are opening the new season with a very big challenge for the whole team, but we will stand at the start of the first World Championships edition, very well prepared. 16 incredible special stages are waiting for us and almost 375 km struggle among the best crews and teams in the world. With each day closer to the start emotions are higher, but we are counting on the support of the fans, which we will not dissapoint. See you in Monte Carlo.
