OPOLE RALLY: AIMING AT THE TOP POSITIONS

Silesia Rally Championship are now entering the deciding phase. Already the coming weekend will feature the 2nd Opole Rally, which is the one but last round of this year’s championship. Rallytechnology team will of course be present at this event with its crews Lechoszest / Drahan, Mąsior / Bobrowski and Lizończyk / Cieślar. All crews will start in Peugeot 208 R2.

Robert Mąsior and Łukasz Bobrowski have big hopes with this rally. In the previous round of SRC they were 4th in class Guest 2WD. Thanks to it, racers of Automobilklub Śląski could keep the leadership in the classification in their class but that does not mean they can take the coming rally for an easy one. They have an advantage of five points over the second crew, which means hard fight until the finish line.

Przemysław Lizończyk with Zbigniew Cieślar are going to compete also in class 2WD. These two were 5th in Wisła Rally, which was their highest result in this season. The crew, currently on the 9th position in their class, can hope to advance significantly as the point differences between opponents are not big here.

On the best way to the champion title are Arkadiusz Lechoszest with Paweł Drahan, who are now leading RO R class. The crew of Peugeot 208 R2 won three out of four rallies so far, which puts them in the front-runner position also in Opole Rally. Lechoszest with Drahan have so far collected 93 points.

”2. “Opole Rally is going to be an interesting challenge for our team. Rallytechnology crews are doing fantastically in this year’s edition of Silesia Championship, which is very well illustrated with their results. Our whole team will do everything in our power to ensure that our athletes could finish this rally easily and very fast. Keep your fingers crossed for us!” said Rallytechnology team manager Robert Gabryszewski.

Participants of 2nd Opole Rally are going to compete on six special stages summing up to 42 kilometres. The rally starts on Friday 28th October at 20:00 from the main square (Rynek) in Opole. Trials of SS 1/3/5 Osowiec (7.0 km, 8:31, 11:50 and 15:09) and SS 2/4/6 Budkowice (7.0 km, 9:29, 12:48 and 16:07) are planned for Saturday. The rally’s finish will be from 17:49 , also at Opole’s Rynek.

Worth mentioning is that Rallytechology participates this weekend also in another rally. It is a German ADMV Lausitz Rallye 2016, in which Daniel Chwist with Dariusz Burkat will start in Subaru Impreza STI serviced by the team of Rybnik. We count on your support!
