FOUR RALLYTECHNOLOGY CREWS FIGHTING FOR POINTS IN THE 2ND SILESIA RALLY

The last weekend of June will be mared by a great rally celebration. The fourth round of Polish Rally Championship is at the same time a round of two other championships, so there will be as many as 125 crews at the start line! Four of them will represent Rallytechnology team in the Silesia Rally.
But let us first move three weeks back to the super-slippery asphalt roads, where the crews competed in the 6th Nadwiślański Rally. The highest position among the drivers serviced by the team of Rybnik was Dariusz Poloński with his co-driver Łukasz Sitek. The duo finished fourth in the general classification and third in the second class. That is their highest result since they changed the car to Ford Fiesta R5! In the fourth class Grzegorz Bonder and Jakub Gerber were successful – driving fast but also wisely, they finished second in the 2WD class and 10th in the general classification!
After a misfortunate start in Puławy, Zbigniew Gabryś and Artur Natkaniec are counting for a good performance now. The current second runner-up Polish champion will switch this time to a Fiesta R5, which he feels very familiar with. He will be one of the favourites to the podium of this rally. The Rallytechnology Junior Talent Team member, Kacper Wróblewski has a similar goal. Together with his co-driver Jacek Spentany, he will want to increase his advantage in the fourth class. Also Dariusz Poloński and Łukasz Sitek (Ford Fiesta R5) as well as Grzegorz Bonder and Jakub Gerber (Peugeot 208 R2) will be present on the tracks around Chorzów.
Robert Gabryszewski, Rallytechnology Team Manager: We are now moving from the slippery and traecherous asphalt roads of the Nadwiślański Rally to the second edition of Siesia Rally, where we can undoubtfully expect a great show. Currently, our team is a leader in the classification of sponsor’s teams, with a big advantage, and we want it to stay this way until the end of the season. We come to the fourth round of Polish Rally Championship with a great dose of optimism. Our competition never sleeps, still I am convinced that we are going to leave Chorzów with another big point gain. See you at the rally!
The 2nd Silesia Rally start ceremony will take place on Friday at 5.30 p.m. at Silesian Stasium. That same day at 7 p.m. the 1.9 km special stage 1 “Mikołów” will take place. One hour later the crews will appear again at the stadium in Chorzów, at the second special stage of 1.5 km. The most demanding will be, however, Saturday’s sport trials: special stages Suszec, Bzie and the longest one, of nearly 20 km – Chybie. The final ceremony has been planned for 7:10 p.m.
