Rallytechnology hasjust completed the second start this year. For the 47th edition of Rally Bohemia that ended last Sunday (July 10-12), the Rybnik team brought the Volkswagen Polo GTI R5. Tomasz Kasperczyk and Damian Syty stuck race number 11 on their rally car. The only Polish duo in a strong rate of R5 cars, exactly on that place crossed the finish line in Mlada Boleslav.

Nearly 160 km of asphalt stages, combined with the changing weather conditions that prevailed throughout the weekend, proved to be a big challenge, especially for crews facing these routes for the first time. The crew and the whole team decided to treat this start as a test and focus on better matching, with a new rally weapon. The plan was implemented successfully.


Robert Gabryszewski (Rallytechnology team manager): It's good to see that motor sport is back on track and with great force. For the beginning of the Polish Championships, we would love to see such an emotional load as last weekend in Mlada Boleslav. For sure, together with Tomek, Damian and the whole team we will try to provide fans in Rzeszów with the maximum experience. The last three have been an important step in this direction.

We drove the rally without the pressure on the result, but we strongly analyzed each ride in terms of how to best refine the settings. After a rainy Saturday, a lot of sun came down on Sunday. The weather came to our side and provided dynamically changing conditions. Kasperczyk and Syty, making their debut in this rally, had an even more difficult task, but did a good job. Regularly improved times, as well as clean and increasingly confident driving, are the goal we wanted to achieve in the Bohemia Rally.
