Let’s move from Rzeszow to Zlín, where the next round of European Rally Championship takes place. Barum Chech Rally Zlin is an established event in the cycle’s calendar, frequented by Polish teams. Rallytechnology team of Rybnik is also participating, represented by two crews. These include the current Poland’s champions Łukasz Habaj and Piotr Woś (Ford Fiesta R5) and the fatsest crew of this past round among single-axle drive vehicles, Dariusz Poloński and Grzegorz Dobosz (Peugeot 208 R2).
The rally route consists of fifteen special stages, among them classics such as Majak, Pindula or Semetin. Awaiting the competes are a total of 230 kilometres of sport trials during the three days of the rally.
“We are already in Czech, up for the competition,” says Rallytechnology team manager, Robert Gabryszewski. “Last week we were supposed to participate in the Oświęcim Rally, which unfortunately was cancelled. Hence we could spend more time preparing for the next round of European Rally Championship. Łukasz and Piotrek are going to start there and for sure they will try to keep the speed they had in Rzeszów Rally, while avoiding the tiny mistakes causing substantial losses. In addition, Darek and Grzesiek in Peugeot 208 R2 will compete with the really strong European ‘single-axlers’. For all four of them it is going to be a debut in this rally, which makes us look forward to the race even more enthusiastically! We hope you are going to cheer us – both on the sections frequented by Polish fans and also from behind your desktops. Keep your fingers crossed!”
