INTENSIVE RALLY WEEKEND

Every week Rallytechnology team of Rybnik shows up in different points in Europe so that the crews can compete in various leagues and on different surfaces. Coming up this weekend are two big events: Nadwilański Rally on asphalt and Liepāja Rally on gravel.

European Rally Championship welcome to Latvia

After Barum Rally (Czechia) which took place in the end of August, the crews check in in Lipawa. The Latvian event has been moved from the year’s beginning to September due to lack of winter conditions. This time the crews are most probably going to compete on gravel roads. “This past weekend we took part in a training rally in Lithuania. Łukasz Habaj and Daniel Dymurski finished on the tenth position. Flat tyres kept them from fighting for a higher position but not the result was the most important aim of that race. It was definitely more desired to find the right settings before Liepāja. In the coming-up race Łukasz’s co-driver is going to be Jacek Spentany, and as usually they will use Ford Fiesta R5 Evo,” comments Robert Gabryszewski, Rallytechnology team manager.

Rally Liepāja, which is the one but last round of the European Rally Championship, is going to take place on 16-18 September. The qualification stage has been planned for Friday, while on Saturday and Sunday the crews are going to compete on thirteen special stages. Their total length is 200 kilometers. You can find the coverage of the event on Eurosport.

Poland Rally Championship in Puławy: Nadwiślański Rally

Now, the championship cavalcade in our country moves from Rzeszów to Puławy and Kazimierz Dolny. The crews are going to compete in the nearby orchards, on stages difficult and non-typical as for our conditions. The asphalt may become very slippery if it rains. Even when it is dry it is difficult to get a good traction here.

“We are going to work with four teams in Puławy. Zbyszek Gabryś and Artur Natkaniec come back after the unlucky Rzeszów Rally, which we are really happy about. Again they are going to race in their Ford Fiesta R5 Evo. Dariusz Poloński and Grzegorz Dobosz are going to drive Peugeots 208 R2. These drivers are well prepared after their appearance in Czechia. Tomasz Gryc with Michał Kuśnierz and Robert Mąsior with Łukasz Sitek are going to use the same type of car,” adds Gabryszewski.
