Another intensive weekend notched by Rallytechnology team of Rybnik. The team took part in two master class rallies, represented by a total of five cars. A lot has happened during those few days, and long story short we can say we have gained a lot of experience!
Let’s start our performance review with Latvia and Liepāja Rally, the one but last round of European Rally Championship. This race featured Łukasz Habaj and Jacek Spentany in Ford Fiesta R5.
The crew members got a lot of experience on the evil speedy special sections. A few times they finished in top five and remained on the fifth position until the final round. Unfortunately, the 13th special section turned out not particularly successful for Łukasz and Jacek, as they lost a wheel just a few kilometres before the finish line. “It was a difficult yet a very positive weekend. Łukasz presented a high speed which let him compete with the local drivers. Unfortunately, the mistake at the very end cost him a lot and made it impossible to finish the race. Although the car itself did not suffer too much, it was not possible to fix it on site. Anyway, the speed and driving quality augur well for the future,” comments Robert Gabryszewski of Rallytechnology team. “Here I would also like to congratulate Kajetan Kajetanowicz and Jarek Baran to their second title in the row. Well done, gentlemen!”
Now let’s move from sunny Liepāja to Puławy, where the fourth round of the Polish Rally Championship took place. Four Rallytechnology crews took part in Nadwiślański Rally and again they achieved a lot, so the team could enjoy a win in sponsor category. “I wish to congratulate our racers, who presented a high tempo in Nadwiślański Rally. Zbyszek Gabryś and Artur Natkaniec stood on the podium of the general classificationafter winning the final Power Stage. Darek PolońskiI and Grzesiek Dobosz in turn won class 4, having defeated after a tight race our other duo, Tomek Gryc and Michał Kuśnierz. Also, Robert Mąsior and Łukasz Sitek scored their first points in this season, congratulations! Once again we record a successful rally and a lot of new experience.
Coming up is the next rally, the fifth round of Silesia Rally Championship – Wisła Rally. Rallytechnology will be represented by four crews: Mąsior/Bobrowski, Gryc/Kuśnierz, Lizończyk/Cieślar and Lechoszest/Drahan. As usually, we count on your support!
