AIMS REACHED IN OPOLE AND EMOTIONS BEFORE ARŁAMÓW

Slippery surface, surprising conditions and hard competition. These three factors illustrate best the past 2nd Opole Rally. We are most happy about the fact that Rallytechnology was actively involved in the fight for the highest positions by its Peugeot 208 R2 crews.

Class Guest 2WD provided the most emotions, with two of our crews Mąsior / Bobrowski and Lizończyk / Cieślar. The former finished on a fantastic second place, loosing barely 7.7 seconds to the winner! The aim for this rally has been achieved since Robert with Łukasz increased their advantage over the second racer in the classification of that class Patryk Łączka.

Przemysław Lizończyk with Zbigniew Cieślar also closed the past weekend very satisfied. The crew kept an even, fast tempo, which resulted in fourth position at the finish line. It’s this crew’s best result in this season! Congratulations!

In class RO R we could cheer Arek Lechoszest and Paweł Drahan. Our crew fought tooth and claw with Tomasz Wróblewski, who eventually proved to be better this time. Unfortunately, the final result was mostly due to the imposed penalties. Most importantly though, our crew still remains the leader in their class and aims for the champion’s title.

Robert Gabryszewski, Rallytechnology team manager: “The second Opole Rally was a challenge for everyone! The rally is only 42 kilometres long but one had to give their 100 % to drive here fast and mistake-free. The conditions on the race were unpredictable. The unexpected rain and slippery surface clearly did not make the competition easier. Therefore, I feel even more happy that all our crews reached the finish line safely and in a great style! They all deserve sincere congratulations, as all raced fantastically and at the finish line have achieved the aims for this rally.”

“Still ahead of us is the rally of this year’s Polish Rally Championship, 3rd Arłamów Rally. We are going to particularly warmly support Tomek Gryc with Michał Kuśnierz, who are going to fight for the runner-up title in class 4 and 2WD. We are very happy about our team getting enhancement by Grzegorz Grzyb with Robert Hundla, who at this rally are going to compete in a 2WD. Brace for huge load of emotions!”
