For Rallytechnology team the end of the season in the country does not mean a total break from rallies. Already during the last weekend of November our team will be present at the legendary Rallye du Var. Three “Polish” Peugeot 208 R2 crews are going to take part in the 62nd edition of this event. These are: Tomasz Gryc with Michał Kuśnierz, Dariusz Poloński with Balbina Gryczyńska and Łukasz Habaj with Daniel Dymurski.

Polish champion in class four and 2WD, Dariusz Poloński with Grzegorz Dobosz just have had a season of their dreams. Apart from the starts on their own backyard, the crew of Peugeot 208 R2 took part in this season also in Barum Rally. Rallye du Var will be another challenge: this time in France it will be Balbina Gryczyńska in Grzegorz’s seat.

For this year’s runner-up, Tomasz Gryc i Michał Kuśnierz it will be the second time one the demanding French special stages. They came here for the first time in 2011 driving Citroen C2 R2. In this season it is not going to be their first start abroad either, as Tomek with Michał already took part in Rallye Monte Carlo and Rally Islas Canarias.

The favourite to the highest positions will of course be Łukasz Habaj. Polish champion from 2015 decided to skip RSMP rallies and focus on European Championship. His biggest success in ERC is the first position in the Canary rally in class ERC 3 and fourth place in the general classification of Rzeszów Rally. His co-driver is going to be Daniel Dymurski.

Robert Gabryszewski, Rallytechnology team manager comments: “Rallye du Var is one of the most demanding rallies in Europe. Its curvy special stages have already become a legend. It is a huge challenge especially for co-drivers, who will have to talk a lot … I am very happy to have a chance to present our cars abroad. It is going to be another very important experience for us and it can teach us a lot. I think our crews can be very competitive here. These are though Polish fastest ones, so I count for high positions at the finish line!”
