FOUR RALLYTECHNOLOGY CREWS AT 45TH ŚWIDNICKI KRAUSE RALLY

Time is up for the kick off of the 2017 season of Poland Rally Championship (RSMP). The best racers of our country are to compete in the 45th Świdnicki KRAUSE Rally on the 21st April. Among them are also Rallytechnology representatives: Zbigniew Gabryś / Artur Natkaniec (Ford Fiesta R5), Dariusz Poloński / Balbina Gryczyńska (Peugeot 208 R2), Tomasz Gryc / Michał Kuśnierz (Peugeot 208 R2) and Robert Mąsior / Łukasz Bobrowski (Peugeot 208 R2).

Zbigniew Gabryś with his co-driver Artur Natkaniec are going to compete for the top positions in the opening round of RSMP. Last season this driver of a Ford Fiesta R5 showed a great tempo finishing third in Nadwiślański Rally and fourth in Dolnośląski Rally. This driver of Rallytechnology team has spent the winter training and right before the rally has completed intensive tests aimed at best preparation for the coming season.

One of the favourites in class four is Dariusz Poloński. Interestingly, this Polish champion of the last year takes the start in Świdnicki Rally purely as a training, as his goal for this season are Europe Championships in ERC 3 class. He is already familiar with his Peugeot 208 R2 prepaed by Rallytechnology team, which is going to be his rally armor. In the first round of RSMP Poloński is going to start with Balbina Gryczyńska, who is soon to be replaced by Grzegorz Dobosz.

Perfectly prepared for Świdnicki Rally are Tomasz Gryc and Michał Kuśnierz. As a part of preseason training our crew started in the Czech Valasska Rally, where they scored ten times in the top five among the strong stake of front-wheel-drive cars. Their start at our southern neighbours’ confirmed that Tomek and Michał are perfectly fit and stand a great chance for winning the champion title in the four class. Gryc Racing Team crew plans to take part in all the rounds of this year’s Poland Championship calendar.

Robert Mąsior i Łukasz Bobrowski are another strengthening to Rallytechnology team. The duo will also use a Peugeot 208 R2. This is going to be the first start in this rally with such a car for this crew. As part of the preparation for the season, Robert Mąsior started also in Valasska Rally, which was his debut abroad. Having gained new experience, he now plans to use it on the tracks of Świdnicki Rally.

Robert Gabryszewski, Rallytechnology team manager: The Europe Championships kick off is just behind us and we are now to start Poland Championships. The competition have been training hard over the winter but so did we. We are in an excellent shape and I am convinced that we manage to show it already in Świdnicki Rally. Zbigniew Gabryś is again going to drive a Ford Fiesta R5and I think that he has a good chance for the podium. Our crews in class R2 are also a strong competition in the fight for the top positions. The drivers: Dariusz Poloński and Tomasz Grycsa have an inside-out knowledge of those cars and they know how to use their potential. I am very happy that Darek Poloński has decided to try his chance in Europe Championship. The competition is extremely strong there and the rallies are particularly demanding but that is the point of this sport. Robert Mąsior with his co-driver Łukasz Bobrowski are also going to compete in class four. This crew has a large potential and a constant drive for improvement. Świdnicki Rally starts already on 21st of April – see you at the special stages!

The organizers of the first round of Poland Rally Championships have prepared twelve special stages for the participants, with a total length of over 135 kilometers. Racing starts on Friday with a special stage in Świdnica. On Saturday there will be another seven special stages awaiting the drivers, and the last four including Power Stage Zagórze-Walim (13.05 km) on Sunday.
