TIME FOR RALLYTECHNOLOGY'S SECOND GRAVEL RALLY

After a break of almost a month, the Polish Rally Championship cavalcade comes back to the special stages. Ahead of us is the fourteenth edition of Gdańsk Baltic Cup, which is the only part of the RSMP on loose surface. Rallytechnology could not miss the occasion to drift on the roads around Gdańsk and the team is going to be represented by as many as three crews.

The current Polish runner-up Champions Zbigniew Gabryś and Artur Natkaniec went book number three on their Ford Fiesta R5. After a great performance in nica, Gabryś will be back on the Gdańsk Baltic Cup Rally tracks after a 10 years break! Last time he won this rally, leaving behind such racers as Bouffier, Kuchar or Kajetanowicz.

Tomasz Gryc and Michał Kuśnierz are signed up in class 4. The crew of Peugeot 208 R2 feels great on the loose surface, which they proved last year finishing second in their class. This year Tomek and Michał are fighting for the champion title therefore the second round of the Polish Championship is a great occasion for them to get closer their goal.

Kacper Wróblewski is going to have to practice a lot of new things before starting in the 14th Gdańsk Baltic Cup Rally. This will be his first start in Peugeot 208 R2, his first start on gravel surface as well as his first start with his new co-driver Łukasz Sitek. But Kacper has done well in the tests, which helped him get used to many novelties and at the same time increased his appetite for the lose surface.

Robert Gabryszewski, Rallytechnology team manager: Gravel rallies are a true feast for the spectators. Watching speedy rally cars sliding through the curves is an amazing experience. Certainly also Rallytechnology representatives are going to give us such emotions. We have really strong crews in this rally. Zbigniew Gabryś and Artur Natkaniec are among the favorites to the victory but first they will have to fight very strong opponents. Tomek Gryc and Michał Kuśnierz in class 4 will want to present themselves from their best side and improve their previous year’s result. And I am very curious of the performance of our debutant on gravel – Kacper Wróblewski. During the tests he adapted very quickly to the new conditions and showed that he also can play an important role in this rally. It’s going to be quite some emotions for us!

14th Gdańsk Baltic Cup Rally starts on Friday, 26 May at Targ Węglowy. A day later we will have a chance to admire real racing from Kolbudy special stage (13.85 km), which will be the longest stage of the Saturday’s race. On Sunday there will be four special stages awaiting the crews, including Power Stage Kartuzy, where additional points can be won. In total the participants will have to complete over 132 kilometers of special stages. The finish ceremony will take place at around 15.30 at the European Solidarity Center.
