The 5th Round of European Rally Championship, the 3rd round of Poland Rally Championship and one of the biggest sport challenges in our country. This is a short description of the upcoming 26th edition of Rzeszowski Rally. Rallytechnology Team is going to be duly represented among the crews of our continent!
Łukasz Habaj and Daniel Dymurski will return to the FIA ERC roster. Last weekend the 2015 Polish champion together with Jacek Spentany tested his newest weapon – Ford Fiesta R5 Evo 2. Well prepared and hungry for competition, Rallytechnology team is now among the foavorites in the fight for the highest positions in Rzeszów.
Zbigniew Gabryś and Artur Natkaniec might also make some splash on the tracks of southern Poland. Last year they presented a great pace in that rally and now they will want to repeat that counting for a little more luck. Like the crew mentioned above, they also have trained in the Czech Republic, where they found the right settings for their car necessary to present the right pace on the tracks of the Polish classic.
Tomasz Gryc and Michał Kuśnierz were also among the competitors in the front wheel driven vehicles’ category in Horažďovice. For them it is of a particular importance to be properly prepared before each round of Poland Rally Championship for the sake of the aim they have for this season. Their task is to get the champion’s crown, which has so far been going great. They are leaders in the fourth class and in the class of single axle driven cars in the Poland Championship. Their start in Rzeszowski Rally will be another stage on their way to the title they have been craving for.
In the Czech Republic Robert Mąsior and Szymon Gospodarczyk competed the twin Peugeot 208 R2. But in Rzeszów Mąsior’s regular co-driver, Łukasz Bobrowski, will return. The InterTruck Rally Team driver has a really demanding challenge – this will be his first start in this rally. No need to worry though as this is going to be his third debut this season.
Dariusz Poloński and Balbina Gryczyńska will also be pretenders to the victory. The fact that in the past, this and in the previous year, Poloński won in Rzeszowski Rally, speaks for his advantage. Sixteen other crews that also fight in ERC 3 class will try to render his march for the victory futile.
Robert Gabryszewski, Rallytechnology team manager: Rzeszowski Rally is our home round on which every Polish competitor will try to show his best side. We are going to be represented by very tough competitors, who will play key roles in their classes. Of course our goal is to get the highest possible positions but we will also try to make a great show for the spectators from the whole Europe! Keep your fingers crossed and see you in Rzeszów!
As many as 96 crews will compete on the special stages of Rzeszowski Rally. Alltogether they will drive over 214 kilometers, among them the classic special stage Lubenia and the most difficulties can be expected on the longest stage of the whole event, Pstrągowa, with its 24.56 km. The competition will last from the 3rd-5th August.
