RALLYTECHNOLOGY TO SHOW UP IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC

Coming up is a great rally feast – Barum Rally. For both the fans and the crews this rally is an absolute classic and it is hard to disagree with them. It is in the Czech Republic that we are going to witness the incredible fight for the victory in this prestigious event – between the forefront of Europe Championship and the local crews, who are always a force to recon with here. Also Rallytechnology crew, Łukasz Habaj and Daniel Dymurski will want to mark their presence here.

Barum rally routes are extremely difficult and demanding – this is confirmed every year by the number of crews that do not manage to make it to the finish line. But it does not discourage other crews, rather attracts them. At the start of the combined round of the European Championship and the Czech Championship there will be over 150 crews including 37 in R5 class cars! In addition to the crème de la creme of the European Championship we will also see the absolute legend of this rally, Jan Kopecki, who has already won six times in this event.

In the latest evolution of Ford Fiesta R5, Łukasz Habaj and Daniel Dymurski will start together for the second time. Previously they performed on their home ground, Rzeszów Rally, where bravely defeating the difficulties of that event, they managed to finish on the seventh position in the ERC classification. Habaj will try to use his experience from last year's start and fight for the best result at our southern neighbors. Also the young and already accomplished competitor Martin Koči with his pilot Philip Schovánek are going to score points for the team of Rybnik. Czech junior champion will take advantage of Škoda Fabia R5, which he is very familiar with.

Robert Gabryszewski, Rallytechnology team manager: Already for the third time this season our team will return to the Czech Republic. This time we will face probably the most popular event in this country, that is, Barum Rally. If I were to describe this year's edition with a single word, already now I could say that it is impressive - from the level of difficulty of the tracks to the list of participants. Łukasz has already started here a year ago, so it will be much easier for him to tackle the challenges of this rally. He is a very fast and reliable player, so I believe that this start will be a lucky one for us.

As always, Barum Rally will start on Friday evening with the urban special section in Zlin, which is always a great treat for the spectators. The next day, the athletes will pass as many as eight special sections, including the longest run of the rally called Troják (22.87 km). Sunday means six special stages, which will eventually decide on the winner of the 47th Barum Rally.
