RALLYTECHNOLOGY WILL FACE MASURIAN
GRAVEL IN THE STRONGEST LINEUP

Next weekend (June 27th-30th) Rallytechnology crews will join their forces in the 76th Polish Rally. For the first time this season we will see both the teams competing in the Polish Rally Championship and in the European Rally Championship together, as part of of the Abarth Rally Cup. Two Ford Fiesta R5’s, Hyundai i20 R5 and Abarth 124 RGT will be in the service zone of the team in Mikołajki.

Marcin Słobodzian and Kamil Kozdroń, the third crew in the general classification of Polish Rally Championships, will have the highest starting number – 15 – on their Fiesta. This weekend they are also competing in Europe Championships. It is going to be their debut on gravel in an R5 class car. Daniel Chwist and Kamil Heller will also compete in FIA ERC. Since Nadwiślański Rally the duo returned for good to the Polish special stages.

Dariusz Poloński and Łukasz Sitek will be particularly awaited by the spectators at the special stages. Right now the second duo of the Abarth Cup and the sixth crew of the ERC 2, will for the first time present their rear-driven rally car by a manufacturer which has already celebrated triumphs in the history of Polish Rally. The fourth Rallytechnology crew will be Sylwester Płachytka with Jacek Nowaczewski, signed up with a Ford Fiesta R5 in the RSMP field.

The spectacular stage of Mikołajki could not be missing in the Rally Poland and it is this trial – the only one in the Friday part of the first stage – that will start the rally spirit. For Saturday, there are two loops scheduled, each consisting of four stages, altogether 115 km. Another six trials make up the final round of 86.5 km in the Sunday stage. For the finish ceremony, the crews will come back to Mikołajki.

Robert Gabryszewski (Rallytechnology team manager): Probably every rally fan in our country looks forward to the last weekend of June. Once again strong, international racers came to Mikołajki and spectacular Masurian gravel roads will feature a fight for a stake that Poland has not yet had in this season! Four rally cycles, top crews of Europe Championships and the longest, double-scored round of Poland Championships. All that on over 200 km of loose surface and on one of the fastest stages of such type in Europe.

Dariusz Poloński and Łukasz Sitek have a real chance to take the lead in Abarth Cup in Poland, ni front of their supporters. Marcin Słobodzian and Kamil Kozdroń lose only four points to the runner-up crew and although their Fiesta will be tested for the first time on the gravel, we are sure that they are up for a great result. Sylwester Płachytka and Jacek Nowaczewski, just like Daniel Chwist with his co-driver Kamil Heller, have shown with their starts abroad that they can be very effective. Hence their fans are counting on them in Mikołajki.

Each point will count twice and can promote our crews higher in the ranking. We will support them in the fight for individual results but as a team we also have an important common goal. We have optimally used the time for preparation and testing so we are ready for the demanding Masurian routes.
