TARMAC MASTERS PODIUMS FOR GABRYŚ AND POLOŃSKI

The 3rd Rally of Głubczyce Region made its debut as part of the Tarmac Masters series. Last weekend brought beautiful, sunny weather and even more beautiful fight, which is what all the 91 registered crews had hoped for. The fans, who once again had the opportunity to observe the direct duel of experienced drivers from the RSMP with many new talents of the young generation, could not complain about the lack of impressions. The first of those groups was successfully represented by both crews supported in this rally by the Rallytechnology team.

Both Zbigniew Gabryś, with his co-driver Krzysztof Janik, as well as Dariusz Poloński and Łukasz Sitek, after the weekend in Głubczyce, added cups and podium places to their rally achievements. As in April's Tech-Mol Rally, the Polo GTI R5 duo reached the finish line with the third time in the overall standings. In the second race at Volkswagen, they showed an even better pace, as many as 5 out of 6 attempts ended with a podium result. At the finish line in Głubczyce, after 45 km of racing, compared to the April start, they were much closer to their direct rivals - 11.1 seconds behind Wojciech Chuchała and Sebastian Rozwadowski. After two rounds, with 42 points on their account, they are the runners-up in the PRO category - losing 6 points to Chuchała and maintaining an 8-point advantage over Maciej Lubiak.

Poloński and Sitek are even closer to their competitors in PRO 1, and the fans could again follow the duel of Abarth 124 Rally RGT with Ford Fiesta in Rally3 specification (Łukasz Byśkiniewicz and Zbigniew Cieślar). With each subsequent ride, they closed the gap by precious seconds of their time. They attacked hard at the end of the second loop and a high sixth put them back in the top ten. They did not give up the third place in the rates of PRO 1 and Tarmac Masters - RO until the end of the 3rd Rally of Głubczyce Region. They are also third in the season's scoring, behind Byśkiniewicz (+9 points) and only 3 points behind the backs of Jacek Sobczak and Michał Marczewski in the Porsche 997 GT3 Cup - Sunday PRO 1 winners.

Robert Gabryszewski (Rallytechnology team manager): “We went to the sections of the Głubczyce Rally in a very militant mood, and the work of the entire team brought another valuable result. Our duos and cars had a good, even start, without any adventures and problems. The second round of the Tarmac Masters set the bar high, as predicted, and the sunny weather helped to boost the competition even more. The result on the podium is even more pleasing because it was not an easy rally, and the hunger to drive in the entire stake was huge.

For us, however, the most important are the kilometers and training. We are waiting with great hopes for June and the start of the Polish Rally Championship. It will be an extremely intense time for which we are even better prepared after this weekend. "
